Hong Kong Adventist Hospital is a 108-bedded, not-for-profit, private hospital. Since its opening in 1971, the hospital has promoted the Adventist philosophy of a healthy lifestyle as the key components of effective health care, and has had the privilege of serving the international and local community all these years. The Hong Kong Heart Center at the hospital was established in 1985 and at that time, we were the first to provide a multi-disciplinary comprehensive heart center among the private hospitals in Hong Kong. Well-staffed by a team of internationally trained general and interventional cardiologists (adult and pediatric), cardiac-thoracic surgeons, ICU/ACLS trained nurses, health educators and dictitian, the Center offers well-defined protocols and individualized care to cardiac patients. In addition, the Center is well supported by our Cardio-Pulmonary Laboratory, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, Diagnostic Imaging and Cardiac Rehabilitation.
